“Skazka” Gorge located on the southern coast of Issyk-Kul, in the foothills of the Terskei Alatau ridge, near the village of Tosor (between the villages of Kadzhisay and Tamga), 4-5 km from the Balykchy – Karakol highway, 270 km from Bishkek.
We suggest you to visit this truly magnificent place, if you will be having a leisure time in Issyk-Kul.
“Skazka” Gorge is an amazing place formed by sandstones and alumina with mineralized multicolored inclusions of red, pink, yellow, purple colors and their shades.
Water and wind were natural sculptors that created amazing castles and towers, figures of fairytale animals, dragons, elephants, hippos, monkeys, turtles.During the day, colors of gorge change depending on the light. Especially bright colors appear after rain.
